Boy o Boy! Calgary Child Photographer

Oh my, photographing these age groups is hard work!  Trying to coordinate smiles, getting everyone to sit still and keeping everyone happy takes time, determination and a good sense of humour.  I have all three and I know the work pays off when I see the finished product of kids being kids and in this case boys being boys.

To the Dogs! Calgary Photographer

 I have heard so many families comment on how hard it is to find a studio where dogs are welcome.  So bring them in!  A few suggestions for a great session, bring a new noisy toy, bring some yummy  treats, and roll with the punches because the sessions never go as expected!

Thanks to this couple for bringing in their furry babies.  I learned alot and had fun too!

A Word About Black

Its true, the white backdrop is my fave and I use it in almost every session, including the minis but black is pretty nice too.  The black backdrop is a nice element in a  full sessions when we can experiment with different themes and moods of a photo set.  The black  works best when clients have fair colored hair, light clothing or want a more dramatic, formal look.

Christmas Minis -Calgary Family Photographer

Minis are so much fun!  Mini Sessions that is.  Fun, fast and affordable.  Each mini session includes a session and a disk of images, starting at $75.  Clients coming are looking for family photos and a few pix to use in Christmas cards. Be fair warned, I only have a few spots left for November, so if you are interested in a mini session let me know as soon as possible!

Family Fun and Pictures Too! Calgary Family Photographer

Yep in Mid-November we are still doing ourdoor fall sessions, which is just fine with me!
This family, along with a toy dino came out  Sunday for some photography fun. 
Running, jumping, throwing leaves and laughing. Is there a better way to spend an afternoon?

Baby and Family Studio Photos - Calgary Newborn Photographer

I must say that full length studio sessions are the best for babies.  I have done many mini session with newborns and although they turn out good, it just is not enough time to keep baby happy and work with different styles, clothing and diaper changes.
